Bellydancing

Had the Xtreme Sign guys design a logo for our song Ala Nor or I am on Fire. It's great! It's in Arabic, and we ended up getting T shirts made from Wet seal with vinyl from X treme Sign, and guidance from Sam at the Dynamic Sound of Gibraltar Trade Center. He is teaching his boys Arabic, so he put the text together. Love the reactions folks have to our foreign language shirts. Bunch of old Caucasian ladies sporting that message to the leadership of Isis, our instructor from Canada.  What a great troupe of dancers we are. A couple of librarians, a fire fighter, and a world traveling  computer project manager as well as my humble little self.    I do enjoy the dance and comradery after when we go out for drinks and snacks. After all, we deserve it expending all that energy. Amr Diab is he artist we dance to. Egyptian, I think.

If you say so, God

I finally found a new church home, or rather it found me. I took Em home last night. and on the way I passed Light of Christ Lutheran. They were studying how we sometimes get more than we bargained for. A "This is not not the life I ordered" T-shirt was suggested. I was feeling pretty full of peace at this point. I have had a enough years of "Not wants" but "if you say so God, I guess" years. I am sure God had be turn down that road and spot those cars in the parking lot so I would walk in to the church with my Old Friend Don's Milan Transit shirt and sit in on the confab. Last month I saw the pastor Paul at Trinity Lutheran in Port Huron on a off day when I started work later on Sunday. So I wondered where they were in Marysville since that day. I figured a high school. Surprise only a few blocks from Em's house. Maybe my kids Em and Zak can attend church since it close to where they live with their dad.
